Reservations

For smaller groups

For groups of up to 9, we offer reservations in our main dining room. While you can often find a couple of bar seats or a table for two, we highly recommend reservations during weekends, peak dining times, and any time for groups of 5 or more. Our seven-table and twelve-bar seat dining room is smaller than most restaurants to allow our professional cheesemongers, rather than servers, to assist you tableside.

To dine, we offer a hand-picked selection of cheese, charcuterie, conservas, and dishes inspired by a love of cheese and all its delicious friends. In addition to our boards, sandwiches and typical cheese shop fare, we also have a rotating menu of specials such as our raclette menu. For drinks, we have a great wine selection, Chicago-brewed beers, a small selection of digestives, and a perfectly cheese-friendly selection of non-alcoholic beverages. Our acclaimed wine program features a selection of wines by the glass or carafe, as well as bottles from our full retail selection. For a great deal, pick a retail bottle of wine when dining in with only a $5 corkage, resulting in some of the best bottle deals in town anytime. Our non-alcoholic drink selection is built around pairing with our food. It features dealcoholized wines, dry ciders, no-alcohol infusions, and a few other fun surprises.

Our classes and guided tastings are ticketed events to help ensure availability of limited seating. We limit the number of seats to ensure a great experience in our cheese classroom space. Non-refundable ticket sales usually end the day prior to the event but often sell out farther in advance. If you miss out on tickets or a class isn’t offered on the day your are looking for you can still join us for casual dining or our more elevated Cheesemonger Guided Tasting.

For larger groups

For larger groups, we offer private dining, classes, and tastings in our cheese classroom. Allow us to host your event or celebrations and one of our skilled cheesemongers will work with you on creating the perfect cheese experience. For a casual experience, you will arrive at our private space with your cheese and charcuterie boards ready for you and your guests. With our lovely boards served family style in the center of the table, everyone will have the ability to try a variety of cheeses and accompaniments.
